5 Question Friday!!!!

1. Have you ever had surgery?

2. Ever ride in an ambulance?

3. How are you in a medical emergency? Panicked? Calm?

4. Do you have a garden? Flowers or veggies?

5. When did you move out of your parents house?

1. Yes, more than I care to have had. I had my tonsils and adenoids out when I was a senior in high school. Then I had surgery on my knee when I was in college. Next was a D&C. I also had hysterectomy. My hope is to not need surgery again EVER or at least for quite a while.

2. I have never ridden in an ambulance, I hope I never do. *shuddering*

3. I think that I panic at first, then a calm comes over me. I seem to keep it together until the storm has passed and then cry.

4. I don't have a garden, I have a brown thumb. I just cannot keep plants alive, sigh, I wish that I could. Plus, it gets so HOT & HUMID here that I avoid going outside at all costs. Sigh, that does not bode well for a garden.

5. I officially moved out after K and I got married.

  1. Hey, thanks for stopping by. My sister and I are going to try to garden this year, but my thumb isn't brown, it's black. Nothing ever lives with my gentle attentions. I have to admit I hate being hot, too. If the garden isn't right next to the pool, this probably isn't going to work!

  2. I can not keep plants alive either! I've tried. It's not my gift. I have moved on! :)

  3. I have a brown thumb, too. However, SOMEHOW I can keep flowers alive (only because I do water. if anymore work was needed they'd be out of luck). Except I'm pretty sure I killed all of my lilies last year. We'll see if they pop up this year.
One thing that is IMPOSSIBLE to kill is a hosta. I've run over them with a lawn mower a million times and they come back. I had a lid blow on top of mine last year and I left it there (because I'm lazy) for at least a month. I thought for sure it was a goner. NOPE. it popped right back up the next season.

  6. I'll see you your brown thumb and raise you my black thumb! I wish I enjoyed gardening...but it is such a chore. Especially when the weeds start! And, I'm with mrsmarkdave...hostas are untouchable! If I can keep them alive...ANYONE can keep them alive! (Oh, and rhubarb, too!)
