InstaFriday

life rearranged

 It's Friday folks!
Can you believe it!?!
That means it's time to link up and share your weekly cell phone pics.

My little ballerina.
Homegirl is loving herself some ballet.
Every Monday she can hardly contain her excitement, it's ballet day!
I'm so happy that I signed her up for two sessions, more ballet, yay!

Spring has arrived here in Kansas and with it comes all of our Spring activities.
Soccer practice at the lake, awesome.
Adison is loving it!
It helps that her bff is on the same team with her, even more exciting!
She has her first game in a couple of weeks, I can't wait to see it.

I watch my niece on Tuesdays, it is so fun seeing Abby and Cameron play together.
Snack time in the same chair, priceless.
I feel so blessed that my girls are growing up with their cousins, it is such a special relationship.

Ugh.
Gas prices.
I have been avoiding getting gas in the van because I cringe when I see the prices.
I balked when I finished filling the tank.
Sigh.

Yesterday we had to get the van looked at due to the accident from last Sunday.
The guy that was checking out the damage told Abby about this moth.
I think it's a moth.
Anyone know?
This thing was massive, easily the size of my palm.
Abby LOVED it and kept saying "Hi!".

Five Question Friday

1. What giveaway would you like to do on your blog?

2. If you had to choose between natural artistic ability and natural athletic ability, which would it be?

3. Do you ditch the coat the minute it becomes "spring" or are you a holdout for more cool temps?

4. What would you do if you won the mega millions lotto of 1/2 billion dollars?

5. You are at a hotel by yourself...what do you do?

1. I have no idea, maybe something coffee related. I sooooo love coffee, otherwise I am open to ideas.

2. At this stage in the game I would love some good artistic ability. I have always wanted to be extra crafty and creative.

3. I'm a holdout, I am not a fan of being cold. I do put all of our cold weather coats away and keep jackets and fleece out.

4. Pay off debt, I hate having it loom over my head. I would want to donate to some charities, put some aside for college for the girls, save save save.

5. Sleep, stay in bed all. day. long. Read, watch television, lay there all day.

A mother/daughter date with Ainsley

Yesterday, after picking up Adison from school we went home and played outside.
Adison hung out on the porch with baby B and me while the little girls drew with chalk.
They drew on the sidewalk, the steps, the porch, our cement cat named Henry, but mostly on themselves.
I didn't mind, they both needed a bath and isn't one of the joys of childhood playing outside and getting dirty?
I believe it is, some of my most fond memories are playing outside and getting good and dirty.

After the bath I was trying to find clothes for Ainsley to wear and couldn't find anything in her size.
I looked in her dresser, nada.
I looked through each and every tub of clothing that we have, thinking that maybe, just maybe there would be some size 5 summer clothing in there somewhere, zilch.

When K got home I commented to him that we needed to get Ainsley some new clothes.
Homegirl had grown out of her clothes and we didn't have any that fit.
It was then decided that getting homegirl some new clothes needed to happen immediately.
After putting a very cranky Abby to bed I decided to take Ainsley out get some new clothes.

Mama, I like it when it's just you and me that go out.

That's all that this mama needed to hear, I need to get out more one on one with my kiddos.
I need to make more of an effort to do this.
I got to hear all of her thoughts on everything, without interruption.
I got to hold her hand and jump over cracks and listen to the songs that she is learning in school.
Just Ainsley.
Just the two of us.

I do these things with my kids everyday, but there is something so special about being very intentional with time.
About having time designated to ONE thing, not a juggling act.
One.
Ainsley.
Me.
Together.

We headed to our favorite shopping joint, Tar-jay.
Homegirl had the whole thing planned out.
First, we would look in the big girl section for dresses.
Then the little girl section for dresses.
Then we needed to look for shirts and some shorts.
{We already had a few skirts, so that was one thing to check off the list.}

We spent our time looking at absolutely everything.
Every dress they had we looked at.
I told her we could put everything she liked in the cart and then we could decide.
She decided that we needed to head to the dressing room so she could try everything on.

It was precious.
She would try it on, sway this way then that.
Mama, what do you think?
Well, Lee, what do you think?
I think...I like it if you like it.
Lee, what do you think, do you like it?
Well...what do you think?

{I was JUST like that as a child, Mom, I feel your pain, ha!}
Finally, I got her to tell me what she actually liked.

Girl has some style.
Today she wore one of her new dresses to school, let me tell ya, she rocked it!
What's not to love about pink tie-dye?

Tomorrow they are having their pictures taken at school.
As soon as Ainsley got home from school she went to look at her new clothes to pick out what to wear.
Poor girl was just not sure, I finally convinced her that she didn't have to decide just. that. second.

I'll take a picture and share it tomorrow, I'm interested to see what she decides on.

We even treated ourselves to some tasty snickerdoodle cookies last night as well, they were delish!

I have already been thinking of all of the different outings we can take with the girls, I'm thinking cupcakes with Adison will be next.

I fondly remember fun jaunts like this from when I was young and look forward to the memory making with my kiddos.
Did you do this when you were a child, what was your favorite outing?

She was like a different child

This morning baby B, Abby and I met up with some friends to go to a park.
It was a new park for us, so I was really looking forward to it.
Plus, the friends we went with are in our small group, it's always nice sharing life together.

B loved it!
So smiley and happy.
Thrilled to pieces to see our friends, the kiddos and just to be outside.

Abby though, man, she was like a different child.
My usual happy-go-lucky playground kid was gone.

Instead she was shy, hesitant and unsure.
It was so very odd.
She stuck pretty close to me, never venturing too far away.
I just kept looking at her and commenting on how different this was.

I think it's because she is used to having Ainsley with her.
Ainsley to play with or to tag along with.
Someone to keep her so busy that she didn't realize she was climbing stairs or going down a slide.

It made me think about what good friends my little two are.
They truly do enjoy each others company.

While I do love watching them play together, it is also such a treat to see them play individually, to watch how they differ and how they compliment one another.

We soaked up this lovely Spring morning and are lavishing in it this afternoon too.

How has your day been?

Virtual Coffee

**I wrote this several hours ago, then my internet decided to go out. So, here it is long after I finished that cup of coffee**

Photobucket
I'm linking up with Amy over at Lucky Number 13.

I need to take another coffee picture, next week there will be a new one...hopefully

I like to think that we are sitting down having a cup of coffee together this afternoon.
I need my afternoon coffee today, not everyday, but today it's a must.

So, dear friend, how are you?
How was your weekend?
Did you have lovely weather as well?

I'm am so incredibly tired.
I have no idea why.
Well, actually, I think I do.
I have been busy with spring cleaning.
Cleaning both the inside and outside while attempting to train for the 5K and continue on with normal, everyday life.

If we were having coffee, I would tell you how Ainsley is losing the last little bit of her baby talk.
She now clearly says "Ains-ley" instead of "Ains-shewy".
Holy smokes, these kiddos grow up so fast.
I would also talk to you about being overextended.
It seems like I could do have something scheduled for almost every weeknight.
I have started saying no more to things, I just can't be this busy all the time.
It wears me out and I know that this is only the beginning.
If we were having coffee I would tell you how much raising girls scares me sometimes.
Adison has reached that age of seeing what other girls her age are wearing and she wants to wear the same things.
I have had to tell her no more times than I can count when it comes to attire.
We have explained to her the need to be modest and to keep our bodies holy.
I knew this time was coming, but was naively hoping that it wouldn't.
I would love for you to tell me about your life.
What there is that I could be encouraging you about or lend a listening ear.

We had a busy, fun, lovely, interesting weekend.

1. We celebrated my brother's birthday this weekend. My mom came in town and we all went out for lunch. Happy Birthday Joe! Miss you already Mom!

2. We picked up Miss Adison on Saturday morning. I was beyond ready to see her face, I missed her. Tremendously. I love getting that first, giant, squeezy hug from her.

3. Ainsley and I went out shopping with my mom for most of Saturday afternoon. She bought me PW's new cookbook. I made her beef and bean burritos last night for dinner. So. incredibly. good. I then used some of the leftovers and made myself a delicious lunch.

4. Sunday an older gentleman hit our parked car. While we were in it. The poor old man worries me you guys, some people for their own safety and the safety of others should not be allowed to drive.

5. Afterwards, we took the kids to the lake and went for a 2 1/2 mile walk, bike ride, scooter ride, being carried. You know, depending on who you were. I will give you a clue, I was not the one that was carried. That sure would be nice though.

6. I then came home and mowed the front yard. Then K and I rearranged some furniture.

7. Due to the previously mentioned busyness I was asleep around 9:30 last night and slept until 7:15 this morning. *yawn* I desperately needed it.

8. This morning was the first day back at school for the girls. Ainsley was ready before the bus came. Adison, well, she got to school late today. Sigh. Tomorrow will be better.

9. This morning, while baby B napped and Lee was at school, Abby helped me wash the front porch. It was DI-R-TY! We then pulled some weeds and played out front until a large dog ran into our yard. I don't think I have even moved so fast as when I grabbed Abby and dashed into the house. I'm sure it was quite the sight.

10. Ainsley has ballet later this afternoon, I think I may be as excited as she is!

How was your weekend?

InstaFriday!!!

life rearranged
Happy Friday my lovelies!
How was your week?
Mine was quick and weird due to being out of town for the beginning of the week and the girls having Spring Break.

I've been on a cleaning, re-organizing and de-cluttering kick.
I redid my mantle as well.
I think I still need to add something else to it, but for now I am happy.

Abby took this picture last night.
We were having some before bed music time.
The kids love singing to some Third Day and K and I are big fans of their music.
It is so neat to hear little voices belting out Children of God.

Yummy coffee with my new mug.
Could the day start out any better?
I think not.

One of my favorite vacation pictures.
Abby loves cuddling with her Grandpa.
She's a good cuddle bug too, she kind of melts into you.
Delicious baby love.

My Dad and Step-mom were in Florida for vacation earlier in the week.
I got a text from my Dad with a web address on it.
Not knowing what it was I clicked on it and saw him.
My Dad, on the beach in Florida, me, among the wheat and soon to be sunflowers in Kansas.
I love technology!

I mentioned yesterday that it was my first day going to the gym.
While washing my hands I, of course, being the blogger that I am, had to document it.
I thought of taking a picture while on the elliptical machine but given how ungraceful I am, thought better of it.

See this face?
I miss it.
A lot.
She will be home tomorrow morning and I can't wait to give her a big squeeze.

I had to add an action shot of Miss Ainsley driving.
She did great!
Watch out world, we might have the next race car driver on our hands!

Head on over and link up, I can't wait to see everyone's pics from the last week!

xoxo

Five Question Friday

1. If you were free to just hop in the car and drive, where would you go? Or, if you could hop a plane and go anywhere, where?

2. What's your most recently read favorite book?

3. What's your favorite Spring Break memory?

4. What do you put in your child's Easter basket? Or, for those w/o kids, what was put in your childhood basket?

5. Do you get a summer haircut?

1. Right now I would go visit my mom, even though I will be seeing her in less than 36 hours, I still miss her dearly. Otherwise, I would either go to Michigan to visit family or to Colorado to visit my cousin.

2. The Grimm Sisters series. They were REALLY good!

3. I would honestly say this year has been my favorite. But, my favorite memory...probably my senior year of high school. A bunch of my friends and I flew down to Corpus Christi, it was so much fun!

4. Normally we put some candy {I buy my favorites, hee hee}, they get a chocolate bunny and maybe a little toy.

5. I don't get a haircut in the summer, I like to grow mine out for the summer. Our summers in Kansas are HOT and HUMID. I need to be able to put my hair in a ponytail.

The Good, the Bad and the Funny

The Good: I went to the gym today for the first time ever and it felt great. My besties got me a gym membership so we can workout together! Isn't that the nicest!?! They even have childcare there, Ainsley and Abby loved it. Abby actually cried when we left because she wanted to keep playing. I took a two hour nap today, I was seriously exhausted. Today had a lot of sweet moments. Those moments that you notice when you just stop and are still in the moment with the people that you love. Yesterday was my brother's birthday, we are celebrating this weekend!

The Bad: I am seriously missing Adison, she is visiting K's parents for the rest of her Spring Break. She is having a blast which is great though. It has been nice talking to her on the phone though, she has so many things to tell me and I am struck by the fact that she now sounds so grown up.

The Funny: I'm going to share an embarrassing story with y'all. Why? Because I love you more than my luggage. {Name that movie!} Monday, while we stopped at Osceola Cheese Factory in Osceola, MO I snapped the usual pictures that I do outside the shop with the kids. So, I had the little two standing on this statue of a mouse. I was trying to scoot back so I could get the full mouse with the kids when I suddenly fell backwards. I landed on my hind end and on the palm of my hand. My first thought wasn't Am I hurt? Are the kids freaking out that I fell? Nope, my first thought was to look around to see if anyone saw me fall. I sat there, on the ground, for several seconds to double, then triple check. Nope, no one saw me. Luckily K didn't see me fall, I've fallen too many times to count and he has seen most of them, ha ha!

Branson~ How I adore thee

Okay, so, yesterday I mentioned that we went to our yearly stomping grounds of Branson, MO.
I have been going with K's family since before we were married and they have been going even longer than that.
It's something that we all look forward to.
We have our must-visit places and we made sure to visit them.

The Track.
Every year we head to ride go-karts.
{Well, I think every year, weather permitting.}
Poor Abby, we thought she would be big enough to maybe ride something, anything.
Nope.
She was big enough to ride the quarter machines, despite a few smiles, she was ANGRY.
Like, screaming on and off for about 2+ hours angry.

Adison, she loved every. single. second. of it.
She was big enough that she could ride on everything and was even able to drive a go-kart by herself.
She rocked at the bumper boats.

Ainsley was a rock star at shooting the water guns on the bumper boats.
She wasn't big enough to drive so Grandma took her.
{Thanks Grandma!}
They had a mini go-kart track for the littles like Lee to drive.
She surprised me with how well she did.

We managed to squeeze in some shopping, I got some new running shoes.
Thanks Nike outlet store!
As I mentioned yesterday, we checked out the Disney store.
The littles freaked out in the best way possible.
Squealing, dashing from place to place and "Oh! Look at this!" abounded.

Poor Babs, despite our attempts to get her to bed on time and whatnot, homegirl was exhausted.
She actually slept in the car for a decent nap.

Okay, so I'm going to embarrass myself for a moment.
On the way home we stopped by the Osceola Cheese Factory.
It's another of our must-stop locations.
Normally we stop on the way to Branson and the way home.
It is so incredibly delicious, yum.

Ainsley needed new flip flops, girl's feet had a major growth spurt.
While at the Walmarts she and I both saw these gems and knew that we had to have them.
So stinkin' cute!

I mentioned yesterday the tornado that struck Branson a few weeks back.
This was one of the first effected buildings that we saw and let me tell you, it was shocking.
It was so sad to see how bad some of the buildings were hit yet such a sense of relief that it wasn't worse.

I'll share some more pics tomorrow!

~Virtual Coffee~

Photobucket
Hello!
Goodness, I've missed you guys!
We had our yearly trip in Branson over the weekend.
Well, actually, we made it a 4 day weekend.
I think that I will share some pictures tomorrow.

So, if we were having coffee today,  I would tell you that we had the best Branson trip EVER!
The menfolk and older kids caught some delicious trout.
{In my head I can't help but say, "I caught you a delicious bass." Name that movie.}
We had a fish fry on Sunday night.
Adison caught a MASSIVE fish.

Adison and Ainsley both got to drive their own go-karts this weekend.
We went to the Disney store where Abby freaked out over all the plush toys and Ainsley went into princess overload.
Holy smokes, y'all, it was a sight to see and I LOVED it.

If we were having coffee I would tell you about the tornado devastation that we saw.
It was equal parts better and worse than I had expected.
However, seeing a community come together was awe inspiring.

I would also tell you that I ate at the best Mexican and Italian restaurants that I think I have ever been to.
Mexican: Cheese enchiladas with chili con queso sauce, rice and refried beans with a margarita.
Italian: Pizza with alfredo sauce, homemade sausage, mushroom, olives and spinach.

I would laugh with you about Ainsley's favorite part of vacation: making spitballs.
Yep, not the boat ride or the go-karts or the Disney store or playing with cousins way after bedtime usually is.
Spitballs.
Oh to be four again.

I would also tell you that despite getting enough sleep and probably drinking my weight in coffee that I am exhausted.
I feel like I could probably sleep until...oh...next Thursday.

How was your weekend?
What would you talk to me about my lovelies?

Friday, March 16, 2012

Five Question Friday

1. Will you run to the store or to pick up a kid looking a mess?

2. Do you finish a book if it's boring or you don't like it?

3. Beach or mountain vacations?

4. What thing/event says "winter will end and spring is right around the corner" to you?

5. Would you prefer couples or family vacation?

1. I will go looking like a semi-mess. Hair pulled back, yoga pants with some make-up on. I never feel quite put together without make-up on.

2. I normally try to push through a boring book but sometimes you have to throw in the towel and call it done. I don't go that very often though.

3. Hey, I'm not picky. A vacation is a vacation. Time away from the house, without the normal routine and schedule is glorious. If I had to choose between the two though, I would take the beach. The waves, sand, children laughing maybe a margarita or two.

4. The redbud trees blooming. Seeing those little white clusters of flowers means the start of spring.

5. The last time K and I took a couples vacation was our honeymoon. I enjoy taking family vacations, I love seeing them experience new things. Back to question number three though, a vacation is a vacation :)

Have a great weekend!

Can you believe it's Friday???
Link up with Jeannett over at Life.Rearranged and share all of the fun cell phone pics from the last week!

life rearranged

Abby was shocked and so surprised at how headphones worked.
She was so leery at first but then thought it was so funny that you could hear things out of them.
I had to snap this picture for K so he could see her rockin' out!

What cat doesn't enjoy a little dress up time?
Who doesn't want to feel like a princess sometimes?
Well, apparently Chloe would answer "no" to both of those questions.
She was a real trooper though and patiently sat through the girls ministrations.
Pretty kitty!

Abby's new shoes.
Aren't they cute!?!
These shoes were originally $20 and we got them on sale for $5!
I'm a fan of a good bargain.
All three girls actually got some much needed new shoes and they are having fun rockin' their new looks.

Spring has officially arrived in Kansas.
It was so nice to wake up the other morning to see beautiful blue skies and trees blooming.

Our daffodils bloomed for the first time.
They were so pretty...until Abby decided to rip them all out.
Ha ha.
Ainsley was so bummed when she got home from school and was then okay with it when she realized she could then carry them around.

Have a lovely weekend, xoxo

The Good, the Bad and the Funny

The Good: Spring break is next week! Yay for no schedules and pajama days. As of now it looks like mostly rain for next week, praying for a few sunny days. Today I got Adison and Ainsley signed up for swimming lessons. They love having them and I think knowing how to swim is so important. I realized today that next summer all three girls will be in swimming lessons, wow! I ordered a few things from Downeast Basics last Thursday and they arrived on Monday! The clothes all fit well and are oh so cute! Super amazing awesome news: My mother-in-law got her genetic test back to see if she is a carrier for the same breast cancer gene that K's cousin, Tiffany, has and she is NOT a carrier! Meaning that at least for this type of cancer my girls are safe. Praise the Lord!

The Bad: um, nothing! Oh, you know, other than the time change. I'm not a morning person to begin with so waking up earlier is rough. However, having it be light later is oh so sweet.

The Funny: Yesterday morning after dropping Adison off at school, Abby and I were walking into the house. I asked Abby: Are you my sweet girl? A: No, I your baby! How funny and sweet is that.

**Don't forget that I made a button, it's on the right, if you would like to join in! Just share in the comments if you did!**

Cupcake Happiness {Vol. 6~ Life Chasers and Spring}

I've been reading a new blog lately.
I'm not sure if you are anything like me, but I am always looking for new, wonderful blogs to read.
It's always so nice to get to know new people.
So, back to the new blog, well, new to me blog.
Kaylee is the author and so incredibly sweet.
She is very encouraging and real, too.
Head on over, check out her blog and her sweet girls and say hello!

Also causing a lot of happiness around here is spring!
Yes, Spring.
Our daffodils bloomed seemingly overnight.
They were so beautiful for the 10.7 seconds that I got to look at them until Abby ripped them out of the ground.
Oh well.
While baby B was napping this morning, Abby and I went out front to do a bit of clean-up work out front.
It was a mess.
No, scratch that, not just a mess, a hot mess.
Eeh.
So, we raked some leaves and pulled out all of the dead things.
I also trimmed one the hedges out front, we have one that grows like a week and sprouts new branches{?} all over the place.

That's my slice of happiness today.
Good reads and good work getting done.
How has your day been my lovelies?

*Virtual Coffee*

Hello my lovely coffee lovers!
I so love the idea of chatting over a warm up o' coffee.

If we were having coffee together I would tell you how Zoe ate more of Ainsley's Aurora costume.
Sigh.
What is with this cat!?!
I just don't get the appeal of eating a costume.
And, why or why does it have to be THAT costume?
You know, Lee's favorite one?

I would also tell you how my soreness from running/walking is gone.
I need to get back out there again and exercise.
Time though, I'm running a bit short of that right now.
Maybe tomorrow.

While we were chatting I would tell you that I finally folded that load of laundry that has been sitting there since...oh...Saturday.
Yep, I let it sit there for four days before folding it AND I still have another load to fold, but I might get to that later.

I would also tell you how much I am wanting to get PW's new cookbook.
Have you seen it yet?
Wow, it looks gorgeous.

Oh, I would also tell you that I saw baby Faith's mama yesterday at ballet class and she said that Faith's MRI results looked really good!
Yay for that!
However, they still don't know what is going on with little Faith, so prayers would be great!

Finally, I would tell you how much I am enjoying the early arrival of spring.
Blue skies, birds chirping and flowers are trying to bloom.
It's gorgeous and I am soaking it up with the front door open.

If we were having coffee what fun things would you share with me?

I started running again and now feel like I hiked a mountain

 Old school, Abby duck face.
This picture cracks me up!

This past winter my activity level has been w-a-y down.
Due to weather and cold and my strong dislike of being cold I haven't been exercising much {read practically none}.
I have though, been a little more conscious of what I have been eating due to said lack of activity.
With all that being said though, I have noticed my clothes fitting a bit differently.
Not horribly different, but still different.
You know what I'm talking about, right ladies?

Anyways.
As I've mentioned before I will be running a 5K this June and I am really looking forward to it.
This past Saturday I met up with two of my dear friends Clara and Jennifer, who are also doing the 5K with me to start training.

I was realistic going into it, I knew that I hadn't been doing much and that there was zero way I was going to be able to run four miles.
{Have I mentioned that I am NOT a runner, never have been.}
I started out doing pretty well, I thought that I *might* be able to do more jogging than I had originally thought.
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.

I managed to make it a mile when I got that stabby, ouch feeling in my side.
I get a stitch in my side every time I run, does that happen to you too?
Since running more was out of the question I decided to power walk it, still exercise.

Walk walk walk walk walk.
Up up up a hill.
{Please, let me lay right here, send a car.}
Down down down the hill.
Walk walk walk walk walk some more.

We made it back to the cars.

I managed to get done pretty much what I had expected, so I wasn't disappointed.
I do have high hopes of running better next time and am hoping to be able to start walking some more now that the weather is getting a bit nicer.

Yesterday I was feeling a bit sore.
Achy shins and thighs.
Today though, ouch.
All is well though, I feel happy in knowing that I'll get there and I'm motivated enough to reach my goal of running the entire 5k.

How was your weekend lovelies?

Five Question Friday!

1. Are you looking forward to the time change this weekend?

2. Are you getting the new iPad/would you want a iPad?

3. If money was not a problem, what is the one thing you would splurge on?

4. How did you and the Mr. (or Mrs.) meet?

5. Summer is right around the corner. Bikini or one-piece?
1. I'm not looking forward to it but I'm not dreading it either. I change in the kids' schedule is still a change, which means that there will be an adjustment period. It'll will all be a-okay though.
2. K and I toss around the idea of getting an iPad, it would be nice, but I don't know if we will end up doing it or not.
3. I would get the new iPhone even though I have a perfectly working 3gs. Other than that I think it would be fun to splurge on things for the house.
4. We met when we was a DJ at a club and I was a silly sorority girl. We could not stand one another at first, ha ha.
5. One piece, let's just say that things are not what they once were :)

Happy Friday my lovelies!
How was your week?
I love Friday.
Today is the time to share all of those lovely cell phone pics that you have taken throughout the week.
Here is a little peek at our lives these past 7 days.

Last weekend, the girls were asking us to go out for donuts.
So, after doing some chores K and I decided to head on out.
My favorite, cake doughnut with with cinnamon and sugar.
Lo and behold, it came bearing a message.
Love :)

Ainsley had her first ballet class earlier this week.
She loved it and proclaimed that she now wants to be a ballet teacher.
It brought back so many fond memories of when I did ballet when I was younger.

Adison was home sick from school on Monday and Tuesday.
One day she and Abby built a town together.
They were so proud of what they had built and had so much fun playing together.

Tuesday is pizza day in our house.
I had separated the pizza dough so I could make two pizzas when I spied a face in the pizza dough on the right.

K got me this necklace a couple of years ago.
I wear this necklace every day.
Occasionally I will switch it out with something else if we are going somewhere fancy.
As soon as I get home though I have to switch back.

Did I tell you that we had 70 degree weather on Tuesday?
I had the doors open and was wearing a short sleeved shirt.
It was glorious.
Yesterday morning I woke up to snow.
Not a little bit of snow either.
By the afternoon it had melted and was in the 50s.
Welcome to Kansas.

What's better than a regular spoon?
A light-up light saber Star Wars spoon of course.
All of our regular spoons were dirty and this bad boy saved my cereal munching day.

Have a lovely weekend, xoxo
