InstaFriday

Last week simply dragged on, I woke up almost every morning thinking that it was Saturday and, of course, it was not.
Such a cruel joke for my brain to play on me.
This week though, it FLEW by.
It's Friday!!!
Being that it's Friday, it's time to link up with Jeannett over at Life. Rearranged and share all of those cell phone pics that you have taken over the week.

Pink Pancakes.
Such a tongue twister for me to say since I am so used to saying Pink Cupcakes.
I couldn't get my mouth to form the words and subsequently had most of my family giggling at my garbled attempt.
I made pink pancakes {again! My fingers tried to type cupcakes} for the girls last weekend.
Yes, this picture does make them look like chunky Pepto Bismol.

My children all have straight hair, stick straight hair even.
This is my niece.
Look at those beautiful, perfect ringlets.
Her hair is gorgeous, long and thick and oh so curly.
I snapped this pic the other day and had to send it to my mom, we both swoon a bit over little Miss C's hair.

Yesterday morning, while little baby B napped, Abby and I made chocolate chip mini muffins.
They were sooooo good.
I even sprinkled a tiny bit of sugar on top of each one for a bit of crunch.
So very tasty.

Abby, my little kitchen helper, enjoying the fruit of our labor.
She loved them and kept singing her muffin song.
She LOVES to help out in the kitchen, or if she's not helping, loves to sit there and talk to you while you're cooking.

Yesterday afternoon Ainsley and I decided to watch Cinderella.
I am 99% sure that she has seen it before {the girl LOVES her some princesses}.
Her reaction to Cinderella's stepsisters tearing up her dress was simply priceless.
Shocking behavior I tell you, simply shocking.
Have a great weekend!

  1. Pink pancakes! So much fun. When I was a kid my mom used to dye our milk green for St. Patrick's day. I will have to remember the pink pancakes when I have kids.

  2. There is an easy no hassle way to give your girls perfect curls for the day! (my heavens i sound like a commercial lol) any way it is called wait for it....sock bun curls. do a Google search they are so easy. you just roll the hair up in a sock bun go to bed and when you wake up you have beautiful curls for the day! Your girls look like they have the perfect hair for this too! I am still loving that pic of Ainsley's shock...
