Abi-girl?

For some reason Ainsley calls Abby "Abi-girl".

Despite numerous reminders that her name is in fact Abigail not "Abi-girl" Ainsley persists.

Apparently the name is sticking and even Abby is calling herself "Abi-girl".

This morning I heard the funniest conversation between Abby and my niece, Cameron, in the car after taking Adison to school.

Cameron, hi!

*silence*

Cameron, can you say "Hi Abby"?

*crickets*

Cameron, can you say "Hi Abi-girl"?

Me: Abby, your name is Abigail.

Abi-girl

Me: No, baby, it's Abigail.

Ugh, I just can't remember that!
