***The snow stopped! ***
The cold though, that is still in full force.
It was only 3 degrees when we got up this morning and is now only 13.
Tonight it is supposed to be -4.
Yes, you read that correctly -4!
Sorry, I know that you don't stop by here to get a Kansas weather report.
This morning after my cup of creamer and milk with coffee and after I put the babe down for a nap I headed out to do some shoveling.
Don't tell anyone, but I secretly enjoy shoveling the snow.
It is physical work.
It is not mentally or emotionally draining like so much of the day can be, instead it if a bit refreshing.
I get to be outside and think while enjoying the beauty that is the freshly fallen snow.
Today while shoveling I noticed some beautiful waves in the snow.
They were just too pretty to not share.

ReplyDeleteI wish it were snowing here! It is freezing rain and nasty out. The ground is just calf deep with slush. Its disgusting really! Very pretty pictures!

ReplyDeleteWe got 18 inches over night here in Michigan! I love it! It is so beautiful outside! Even my little guy liked being propped up on a snow drift! :-)
