It's Monday

Well, it's Monday.
K stayed home to take care of the girls for me.
My back is still spasming and he was sweet enough to stay at home so I could hopefully heal a bit.
I cannot express how grateful I am!

Being in bed has given me some time to watch the news a bit.
Let me tell you that I am heartbroken.
I knew of the devastation before, but actually being able to see what is going on is a totally different experience.
Watching the footage coming out of Japan is simply devastaing.
My heart and prayers go out to everyone that has been affected by this tragedy.

See y'all tomorrow!

  1. I know! I went to boarding school with several from Japan. So far I've heard that they are all ok!

  3. I was shocked to hear that the quake caused Japan to actually move. It changed coast lines, etc. It even moved the Earth's axis crazy. I'm so worried about the radiation. You see these children being checked over by these wands, you just want to grab them up and get them out of there. I really hope things start to settle down there soon.

I hope your back feels better soon.

  4. So sorry about your back. I once had a short term back problem and that was one of the most miserable things.

My husband and I were watching the news reports about Japan last night in awe of the devastation. Oh, what do you say? We are praying for those sweet people.

I'll definitely send a prayer your way too. :) Janae

I'm actually really relieved I haven't had time to catch up on the news because just from what I've heard, the devastation is tremendous. I can only hope and pray they are able to get through such a tragedy.
    Happy Tuesday!
