As I stated before, I don't do New Year's Resolutions. Instead, I try to make an overall goal for improvement. Resolutions are just a bit too much for me, I just have such a problem with the follow through, then when
there is no possible way that I am going to make it I just slowing drift from my resolution and get frustrated with myself. What good is that doing me? Hence a goal, not nearly as stringent, more forgiving in nature. My goal for the year "laughter, growth, compassion, encouragement and most importantly LOVE!" That to me seems like something that we all work towards that to some degree is attainable.
So I choose to laugh more and to help others find laughter. I choose to grow, not only as a person, but as a wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend and follower of Christ. I choose to have more compassion for others and for myself. I choose to be more encouraging, to really lend a hand and a shoulder. I choose to love and love fiercely. I want to love like Jesus loves, with no reservations or boundaries.
How about you, what are you choosing to do this year?
What are your goals and aspirations?
