A baby that poops

At dinner the other night Ainsley informed K and I that she wants a baby for Christmas that poops.
Imagine a very emphatic, passionate voice saying as a finger wildly shakes:
I want a baby that poops.
But, I don't want to clean up the poop.
You have to clean up the poop.
'Cause I am NOT cleaning up baby poop.
But, I really want a baby that poops.
Could you tell Santa to make one is his shop?

K and I were rolling with laughter.
This came after she informed us that she wanted the walking dog toy that poops but that she doesn't want to eat it.
Huh?
Where did the idea of eating the poop ever come in to play?
Does she think the poop looks like chocolate?
I have no idea.

I tell ya, life is never dull with this spunky kid around.

  1. Sometimes I feel like shouting, "I want a baby that doesn't poop!" with just that much enthusiasm! :) That's the great thing abut being a kid...
