Her tooth came in!

For those of you just now joining Tooth Watch 2010, I am happy to report that Abby's tooth has come in!
She is noticeably happier today.
Woo hoo!
Hopefully she will let me get a pic of her new toothy grin soon.

I just don't know

I just don't know what to "talk" about today...

Maybe the nastiness that splatted out of Ainsley's nose and onto the floor this morning.
Ewww!

Maybe about the 1,000th person that asked me if we were going to have another baby so we can "get that boy" or if my husband was disappointed that we only have girls.
Seriously!

Maybe the fact that I am still not really in the Christmas spirit.
I am faking it for the kids.
House decorated, music playing, house smelling yummy.

Maybe about the fact that I have gotten NONE of my Christmas shopping done yet.
Still not freaking out about it.

Maybe about the fact that I have three of the sweetest most darling little girls that have ever existed.
Honestly!

Maybe about my wonderful, funny hubby that makes me laugh even when he is so nauseous.
What a catch!

Maybe I just wrote about all of those things.

Happy Monday!

Sunday at...

our house.
K is still not 100%.
So we have been home-bound this weekend.
Abby and I headed out this afternoon to get some groceries.
That is about as exciting as it gets around here.

Yesterday we watched the Harry Potter movies on ABC Family.
It was fun watching them.
We had taken Adison to see the new one last weekend.
We were inside the theater before we realized it was PG-13.
Yes folks, it was scary.
Yes, Adison hid her face several times.
Yes, the movie was AWESOME!

Poor Abby's tooth is still not it.
She seems to be in better spirits but you can tell it still hurts.

I hope everyone had a blessed Sunday.
See you on the flip side.

Randoms

Abby is teething.
This has been our worst teething experience EVER!
Poor thing is miserable and this has been going on for almost a week now.
The.tooth.is.right.there.
She has also been swinging between these two extremes:
Momentarily content to screaming banshee.

Hubby is feeling under the weather, not fun.

I love that our house is now decorated.
I love sitting there with the overhead lights off and the Christmas lights glowing.

I have not done ANY Christmas shopping yet.
I am also not freaking out at all, strange.

The girls decided that they wanted leftover ravioli for breakfast this morning...cold.
I don't get it, don't even pretend to.
I am not a person that likes to eat warm food cold.
Cold pizza, no thank you.
It cracks hubby up, he likes to eat food cold.

I realized that it hasn't snowed yet.
Not that I am wanting it to, but it is odd.
Wouldn't it be great to have a snow free winter!?!

Sorry I didn't post yesterday.
I was just too tired.

Happy Saturday everyone!

Decorations!

I feel the need to be honest and say that I am procrastinating.
I have 1,265,478 things to do but I have chosen to write instead.
Last night we got the house ready for Christmas!
While we decorated we listened to some Third Day Christmas Offerings.
Simply beautiful music!

After I pulled 7 boxes of Christmas ornaments out of the basement and K brought home 2 more boxes of lights we were ready to begin.
The tree and the mess.

Close up of the tree.

Adison was so excited to find the star!

It was Ainsley's turn to put the star up this year.

Finished tree and proud sisters!

Our mantel, this is the Nativity set that we used when I was a child.
There is a set of lights behind it.

Some more little decorations. This is our sideboard in the dining room.
The stocking on the wall was my Dad's when he was a child, his mom made it for him.

Well folks, that's it.
Decorating is done!
The kids are having so much fun with the festive decorations.
Abby was is awe when she finally discovered the tree this morning, it was darling!

Happy Thursday, I am off to get some of my to-do list tackled.
Wish me luck :)

Wow! I have a lot of Christmas decorations

I am finally decorating!
Before I started though, I thought that I would share that I just brought 7 boxes of decorations up!
Yikes!
K is also at the store buying MORE lights!

I will share pics of the finished look next!

A mish-mash

Thanks everyone for the great music ideas!
I am FINALLY starting to get into the spirit of Christmas.
I have been listening to Third Day's Christmas Offerings.

Here are a few of my Christmas favorites:
O Holy Night (all time fav)
Welcome to Our World
Angels We Have Heard on High
White Christmas
Christmas in Killarney
                Last Christmas
(okay, I will stop there, too many to list.)

I did get my tree up last night.

Please ignore the clutter, I haven't gotten everything out yet.
We are going to decorate it tonight.

This morning after dropping Adison off at school Ainsley decided to do some building.
She was so cute and all the people had voices and were talking.
She was making a Halloween party for them.

See the people lined up in a row.
So Ainsley :)

My 30th birthday is in exactly a month.
Ahhh!

Happy Wednesday!
I will post some pics of the finished tree.
