*Virtual Coffee*

Yay, I'm so happy that Amy from Lucky Number13 is hosting Virtual Coffee again!
Stop by her place, check out her lovely pics and link up!
Head on over, scoot!

***

If we were having coffee, I would tell you about the new {to me} delicious tasting coffee creamer I tried over the weekend.
It's by International Delight, the Sweet Cream by Coldstone Creamery.
So so so good.
On the way home though I realized that I left it at my in-law's house, sadface.
I think I am going to need to get some more.
yum.

***

At church, for our small group and our L3 journal, we have been reading 1John.
Love.
This one word has so meaning.
It's stretching me, teaching me and inspiring me.

This weekend we visited my in-laws to celebrate my father-in-law's birthday.
We had a lot of fun and celebrated at a yummy Mexican restaurant on Saturday evening.
Sunday was spent relaxing and hanging out.
The girls had a lot of ice cream, Abby at this point was wearing more of it than had consumed.
The Midwest is windy.

***

A couple of weeks ago I mistakenly admitted {I should know better} that Abby was sleeping so well in her big girl bed.
Sigh.
I admit defeat.
I'm tired.
She has not napped well for several days.
yawn.

***

My sister-in-law, Betsy, shared this super cute headband.
I love it, Adison and I have been crafting this afternoon.

***

Ainsley's ears are much better.
Yay for modern medicine.

Virtual Coffee

Virtual coffee, how I've missed thee.
Amy at Lucky Number 13 is taking a bit of a break {I hear ya!} and sweet Claire over at Decide What You Want offered to host this week and I couldn't be more excited.
I've had all of these little snippets of things running through my head and I can't wait to talk about things.

I've been feeling a bit overwhelmed and rundown lately.
I'm just going to put it out there and be honest.
Between Adison being in school, having two littles, all the evening activities and the 10 million balls I feel like I am juggling, oh and a house to maintain as well as a relationship with my husband to nurture, I am feeling stretched.
To the max.
I'm trying to prioritize and put things in perspective.
The school year is almost over as are most of our evening activities.
I've been trying to work extra hard on spending time with the kids individually as I feel like they need it and so do I.

I'm really looking forward to the 5K that is quickly approaching.
I haven't been working out nearly as often as I need to/would like to.
I'm trying though, hopefully soon.

Talking about running, Adison had her school carnival/run last night.
It was a blast!
She came in 3rd or 4th out of all the girls that ran!
I have pictures to share {probably tomorrow} that K took, I don't think I took a single one.
That's probably because poor Abby was slightly overwhelmed.
All the people, noise, people, activity and people got to her.
The plus for me though was that I got some extra cuddle time in.
I'll take it!

Abby has been running around the house acting like a pirate lately.
Complete with a well placed "Aargh!" and hook like arm.
This evening she even pulled down her right eye, hunched over and growled "aargh!" at me.
It was priceless!

Ainsley has been giving me a run for my money lately.
Sigh.
I don't know what's going on but homegirl is a handful, as usual.
She still has her same sweetness that can conquer anything.

This morning we got hit by a strong thunderstorm.
Right before it hit it was barely raining and the sun was still shining.
Adison said I bet there will be a rainbow somewhere today.
Whatdaya know, right after I dropped her off I saw a double rainbow.
It made me think of my girl, God's promise and I couldn't help but smile.

Goodness gracious, I feel like I probably talked your ear off!
What's new in your world?
What's going on that we could chat about?

Head on over to Amy's, link up and share a cup of coffee!

Happy Tuesday!
How is your day going so far.
Mine, well, it's been a really good one.
That, however, doesn't stop me from having an extra cup of coffee with you!
This is cup number two for me, an afternoon caffeine jolt.
How was your Easter?
Ours was very nice, I am planning on sharing some pics tomorrow maybe.
I will share this little delicious nugget.
After church on Saturday evening K stopped and got cupcakes for us.
These were the delicious Easter ones that they had.
Vanilla cake, vanilla frosting complete with jelly beans.
So good!

If we were having coffee I would tell you about Sunday, after we got home from our celebrations I looked at the awful wallpaper in our kitchen and decided that it was time for it to go.
I have loathed this wallpaper since before we moved into this house but have been too chicken to do something about it.
For some reason I was filled with an intense need to get rid of it.
I was beyond thrilled to see how easy it came off.
I got all of the wallpaper {minus the backing} off in about three hours.
Now we just have to decide what to do with the walls, the backing though is SOOOOOO much better than the wallpaper itself.

If we were having coffee I would tell you about Abby's new love of taking pictures.
She loves to use my phone and snap away.
She took this gem of me today while waiting for Ainsley's bus to come.
I'm going to share some of them in the future as well.

Every time I write this post I can't help but hear Mike Myers hosting Coffee Talk on SNL.
Does anyone else remember that?

Okay loves, I hate to skedaddle, but I need to wake Abby up.
Happy Tuesday, xoxo

Virtual coffee

Stop on by at Amy's and share a cup of coffee!

Coffee time, one of my favorite times of the day.

If we were really having coffee, I would tell you how much fun Ainsley is having at ballet.
She is making new friends and loves to dance.
Yesterday, before dance, she got a hole in her tights and freaked. out.
She is VERY particular about things and a hole in her tights is un-accept-able.
She is also having her first play date today at our house.
Lee is super excited and has been a lovely hostess.

I would also tell you about some outside fun we had this morning.
We had some friends over and while baby B slept we took them outside to play.
It was then that I discovered that we have onions growing in our side-yard.
I had no idea, bummer for me though because I cannot stand onions.
I have a gag reflex to their texture, bleh.
We also found a bunch of roly polies, my little ones love letting them crawl all over their hands.
We have had a lot of them crawling around outside lately.

If we were having coffee I would tell you that Abby ate so much better yesterday!
Homegirl is a tough eater.
Seriously.
She will only eat when she wants to eat and refuses otherwise.
Yesterday though, she ate all three meals AND snacks.

I would tell you about Adison.
She is super into origami lately.
She made me a tulip the other day, it was really pretty.
She has also made a mouse and a turtle.
Does anyone know where you can get origami paper?

How is your Tuesday going?
What would you tell me if we were having coffee together?

Virtual Coffee

**I wrote this several hours ago, then my internet decided to go out. So, here it is long after I finished that cup of coffee**

Photobucket
I'm linking up with Amy over at Lucky Number 13.

I need to take another coffee picture, next week there will be a new one...hopefully

I like to think that we are sitting down having a cup of coffee together this afternoon.
I need my afternoon coffee today, not everyday, but today it's a must.

So, dear friend, how are you?
How was your weekend?
Did you have lovely weather as well?

I'm am so incredibly tired.
I have no idea why.
Well, actually, I think I do.
I have been busy with spring cleaning.
Cleaning both the inside and outside while attempting to train for the 5K and continue on with normal, everyday life.

If we were having coffee, I would tell you how Ainsley is losing the last little bit of her baby talk.
She now clearly says "Ains-ley" instead of "Ains-shewy".
Holy smokes, these kiddos grow up so fast.
I would also talk to you about being overextended.
It seems like I could do have something scheduled for almost every weeknight.
I have started saying no more to things, I just can't be this busy all the time.
It wears me out and I know that this is only the beginning.
If we were having coffee I would tell you how much raising girls scares me sometimes.
Adison has reached that age of seeing what other girls her age are wearing and she wants to wear the same things.
I have had to tell her no more times than I can count when it comes to attire.
We have explained to her the need to be modest and to keep our bodies holy.
I knew this time was coming, but was naively hoping that it wouldn't.
I would love for you to tell me about your life.
What there is that I could be encouraging you about or lend a listening ear.

*Virtual Coffee*

Hello my lovely coffee lovers!
I so love the idea of chatting over a warm up o' coffee.

If we were having coffee together I would tell you how Zoe ate more of Ainsley's Aurora costume.
Sigh.
What is with this cat!?!
I just don't get the appeal of eating a costume.
And, why or why does it have to be THAT costume?
You know, Lee's favorite one?

I would also tell you how my soreness from running/walking is gone.
I need to get back out there again and exercise.
Time though, I'm running a bit short of that right now.
Maybe tomorrow.

While we were chatting I would tell you that I finally folded that load of laundry that has been sitting there since...oh...Saturday.
Yep, I let it sit there for four days before folding it AND I still have another load to fold, but I might get to that later.

I would also tell you how much I am wanting to get PW's new cookbook.
Have you seen it yet?
Wow, it looks gorgeous.

Oh, I would also tell you that I saw baby Faith's mama yesterday at ballet class and she said that Faith's MRI results looked really good!
Yay for that!
However, they still don't know what is going on with little Faith, so prayers would be great!

Finally, I would tell you how much I am enjoying the early arrival of spring.
Blue skies, birds chirping and flowers are trying to bloom.
It's gorgeous and I am soaking it up with the front door open.

If we were having coffee what fun things would you share with me?

Virtual Coffee

Amy over at Lucky Number13 hosts Virtual Coffee,  I thought it would be a fun idea to join in.

Photobucket

After all, I do love coffee and love imagining that we are friends catching up over a cup of coffee.

Yum, just looking at that makes me want to go make another cup.
Yesterday at Sam's Club we got some Dunkin Donuts coffee, I have to admit, it's good.
yay coffee!

If we were sitting down for coffee I would tell you about Ainsley's ballet lesson yesterday.
She loved it.
I was able to peek in and see her, she was doing so well.

She was paying attention and doing what her teachers asked her to.
After class she told me that she wanted to be a ballet teacher when she grows up.
Did I tell you that I did ballet as a child?
I absolutely loved it and seeing Ainsley all dressed up brought back so many fun memories.

If we were meeting for coffee I would want to tell you about a wonderful encounter I had while Lee was in ballet class.
When we got there I noticed this darling baby girl.
She looked so familiar and I was trying to figure out why.
I had a sneaking suspicion that her parents write a blog about her and they live in our fair city but I wasn't 100% sure and I didn't want to look like a weirdo for asking if it was her.
But, a nudging to ask just wouldn't go away.
Finally I did and it was in fact Faith.
Faith is a precious little girl full of smiles.
She has spina bifida and will be having an MRI today during which that have to sedate and intubate her, would you join me in praying for her?
It was such a neat experience to be able to chat with her mom, I look forward to seeing them next week!

If were meeting for coffee I would tell you have fine Adison is feeling.
She seems to think it was something she ate not agreeing with her stomach.
I have no idea other than to say that I am happy that she is feeling well.
This morning she has been building blocks with Abby.
It has been a nice, quiet morning at home.
This afternoon she has her first karate lesson, she's really excited.

I would also tell you how much I love huge flowers in little girls hair.

This flower is massive and I am so happy that Abby has enough hair to support it, ha!

I would tell you how much I love blogging, not just for the memory making and cataloging that goes on but also for the community and fellowship.
I love that there are a bunch of amazing ladies that I have never met in real life but truly consider my friends.

I would also tell you that I need to skedaddle, I need to make lunch, Lee gets of the bus soon and baby B is napping.

What would you share with me?
Let's talk, xoxo
